About the Role
At Lendingkart we are looking for individuals who will be assisting the Credit Risk Head & CRO in launching secured products, primarily LAP at LendingKart in selected geographies from a risk & policy perspective.
Some high level things you would own but not limited to:

Design and update policies, process manuals, and guidelines for the secured micro-LAP product based on market trends, competitive analysis, and internal risk appetite.

Establish and manage guidelines for property appraisals from a legal & technical standpoint. This includes overseeing relationships with third-party vendors for tasks like property valuation and legal verification.

Monitor the health of the LAP portfolio to identify early warning signs of potential delinquencies and suggest corrective actions.

Collaborate with business & product teams to align policy with business goals and to ensure smooth application processing.

Ensure full compliance with internal policies and all external regulatory requirements.

Develop and analyze management information system (MIS) metrics/reports for senior management review periodically.
What you would possess already:

A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in policy or risk management for secured LAP products.

Hands-on experience & ability to work as an individual contributor for the first 12 months of launch of the product.

Strong communication skills (written and oral) to provide senior management with business & portfolio insights.

MBA/CA with relevant experience is preferable.
