We are seeking a skilled and proactive Assistant Manager – Systems & Networks is responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficiency of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role involves managing servers, networks, storage, and related systems while providing technical expertise to support business operations. The position also assists in planning, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable IT systems and IT Security aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT person with Networking experience to manage and maintain our organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless network operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing security measures to safeguard company data.

Lead end-to-end IT infrastructure planning for new office locations or expansions.

Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, FortiGate firewall, routers and switches.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime.

Implement IT security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems and MDM, EDR/ XDR and other Info and Data Security solutions.

Perform regular data backups and disaster recovery planning.

Configure and maintain network hardware and software components.

Provide technical support to end-users and resolve hardware/software issues.

Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related procurements and support.

Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection regulations.

Maintain IT documentation, including network diagrams and asset inventory.

Conduct training sessions for employees on IT security best practices.

Participate in IT infrastructure upgrade projects, migrations and rollouts.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in IT networking and infrastructure management.

Hands-on experience with Cisco, FortiGate or other networking equipment.

Knowledge of Windows and Mac Operating Systems.

Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, MDM, EDR/ XDR, DLP, Data security, IT Security and VoIP technologies.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+ are preferred.

Excellent communication, managing C level executives stakeholders and teamwork skills.
